We encourage
our students to work closely together, to learn from each other,
and to develop cultural awareness. In our classes, students participate
actively, and they develop all language skills through a variety
of materials and projects.
We offer a
challenging curriculum to our students. We also challenge our
students with regular homework. Our students often watch television,
read the newspaper, or interview a neighbor as part of this homework.
Each session,
we have special activities such as field trips and social events.
Our students work hard, but they also enjoy their time at the
Tutorium.
We have computer
classrooms, and we offer additional study hours with a Tutorium
teacher in the computer laboratory.
Applying
to the Tutorium
We accept
applications year-round. Our sessions
begin in August, January, and May. You can complete
the IEP Application
on our web site, print it, and mail it.
