Close
to the City Center and Public Transportation
UIC is near the center of Chicago. And public transportation
here is excellent, so it is easy to come to the campus from
the airports and from all points throughout the city and
suburbs. For example, the subway Blue Line stops at University
of Illinois/Halsted station. Buses run on Halsted, Harrison,
and Roosevelt streets.
It is
also easy to come to the campus by car because UIC is immediately
west of downtown Chicago. UIC is at the intersection of
two expressways.
