Wireless Access
The
UIC Wireless Network is available in several locations in
the Tutorium:
- Reception
Area
- Third
Floor Conference Room and Suite 380
- Second
Floor Southern Conference Rooms
- our
special computer lab, SCAILAB

is available in many other campus locations. For a complete

Wireless Locations
To access
the UIC Wireless Network, you need three things:
- A
Wireless Card that is supported by the Funk Odyssey
Client
- The
Funk Odyssey Client installed and setup
- A
UIC Netid

Wireless Card
Your wireless card must support 802.1x and
EAP-TTLS.

supported, so be sure to check this list for yours.

PDA's with the PocketPC OS can use the Funk Odyssey Client.
(Unfortunately, PDA's with the Palm OS are not supported
by the Funk Odyssey Client yet.)

Install and Setup the Funk Odyssey Client
While
in our office
Ask our technical staff for our UIC Wireless CD.
Follow the Installation and Setup Instructions for the Funk
Odyssey Client on the CD.

UIC Netid
If you don't have a UIC netid, let us know ASAP and we'll
assign one to you temporarily just for the wireless access.
