SIT Study Abroad: Gender, Health and Development in Mali
Examine development initiatives through the interplay of gender dynamics and health in Mali. Students will learn about the link between women's roles, family health, and improvement in development indicators. By showcasing the interconnectedness of these issues, the program provides students with an appreciation of the complexities involved in approaching health as an international development issue.

Antioch University's Comparative and GWS Program in Europe
Designed for students interested in exploring women's, gender, queer, and sexuality issues and feminist theory as they earn 16 semester credits while traveling across Europe.

The Balkans

SIT Study Abroad: Balkans: Gender, Transformation, and Civil Society
Students explore and experience aspects of Balkan society ranging from women's movements to peacebuilding through lectures and seminars in the dynamic Croatian capital of Zagreb and field excursions to Slovenia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

England

Michigan State University/Women's Studies Program in the College of Arts and Letters
Cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary investigation into British women's writings and culture, feminist movements, and feminist theories and perspectives.

Netherlands

SIT Study Abroad: International Perspectives on Sexuality and Gender
Based in Amsterdam, students explore the intersections of Dutch and international perspectives. Students select one Sexuality and Gender Seminar program module from choices including Critical Theory, Tolerance and Sexual Health Education, or Filmmaking with a Sexuality and Gender Lens.

Summer Institute on Sexuality, Society and Culture
An intensive four-week summer program, which focuses on the study of sexuality across cultures and is taught by an international faculty team.

Mexico

Crossing Borders: Gender and Social Change in Mesoamerica
Learn about the central issues facing Mesoamerica, with emphasis on the experiences and empowerment of women. You will engage in gender analysis of key social, economic, political, and cultural issues in Mexico and El Salvador; explore the interconnectedness of race, class, and gender; and learn first hand from both women and men who are involved in struggles for sustainable development and social change.
