GWS Minor

GWS classes offer students a chance to examine knowledge, issues, and values through a feminist perspective and an integrative interdisciplinary approach, exploring the connections between academic inquiry and personal life. The GWS Program offers process-oriented classrooms, where students are expected to be active participants in their own learning, and further develop their critical thinking, writing, and discussion skills.

Our students enhance their career preparation by specializing in gender, sexuality, and social justice, and they enjoy a sense of community with others who share an interest in gender issues and scholarship.
