Barbara
O’Laughlin manages the Chicago Center for Early Education (CCEE), a
resource center for early childhood professionals and parents of young
children. As Associate
Director of CCEE, Ms O’Laughlin oversees a comprehensive collection of
multi-media resources to help parents and educators with child care and
family issues. Ms O’Laughlin
is also Executive Editor of Parental News: Stepping Into the Future
newsletter, which is distributed to all Head Start and Child Care parents
in Chicago, and she coordinates Project REACH (Resources and Educational
Activities for Child Care Homes) which focuses on bringing early literacy
resources and activities to family child care homes. Ms O’Laughlin received her Master
of Education from Erikson Institute in 1995.
