Welcome!

On behalf of the University of Illinois at Chicago Early Outreach Program, the Chicago Public Schools, and the State of Illinois, it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the UIC Summer Prep Program.

We are excited about the Summer Prep Program. Of the over 600 students in the aaplicant pool, you stood out like a bright star.

You were selected to participate in the program based on your academic records and your teacher's recommendations. Congratulations!

You will find that the instructors will require you to think, work diligently, and be a team player, as you delve into the scientific method of critical inquiry. Your daily participation is crucial to the success of your team. We are confident that the Prep Program will provide new challenges and build a foundation for your future academic success, as you develop new friendships.

Yours Truly,

Deborah Umrani
Director of Early Outreach Program
