Gustavo was an employee as a student assistant in the program and was able to gain a multitude of experience working with minority and culturally diverse individuals.

As a Program Coordinator with Early Outreach, "my personal experience as a student and employee has helped me immensely in understanding what the Early Outreach Program is trying to accomplish;" to produce scholar-leaders among minority students and prepare them socially, morally, and culturally for the academic rigor and ultimately graduation from a baccalaureate degree granting institution.
