VIDEO PRODUCTION

UIC Engineering Media Services is equipped with professional quality digital and analog video production equipment. EMS video can be acquired and mastered on BetacamSP, miniDV and DVCam videotape formats. This assures highest quality digital and analog video output. Programs can be edited on an Abekas34 integrated editor which allows for multiple digital video effects and keying. Non-linear editing is done with a Canopus DVStorm2 system. The edit suite is custom designed to provide maximum functional output without compensating for versatility or image quality. Other tape formats integrated into this system are U-MaticSP, S-VHS and VHS.
