 Chancellor's Advisory Board

The Chancellor's Advisory Board provides:

  • advice and counsel to the chancellor in decision making on issues that could or should affect the well-being and reputation of the campus among its key external constituencies, including the civic, business, and philanthropic leadership of Chicago.
  • perspective to the chancellor of the business, civic, and philanthropic communities in Chicago and elsewhere on how UIC is perceived and how that perception can be enhanced.
  • opportunities for the chancellor and UIC leadership to develop personal relationships with individuals in the civic, business, and philanthropic communities who can be helpful in achieving a higher profile for UIC, advancing key initiatives, or solving specific problems.
  • support for UIC's philanthropic needs.

The Chancellor's Advisory Board meets three times a year. Subcommittees or task forces may be formed around specific issues or initiatives.
