The Web Accessiblity Committee can help with accessible Web site development by providing accessibility consultations, sponsoring trainings, and informing the campus of resources, best practices, and standards for making Web sites accessible. The goal is to constantly improve accessibility to UIC sites which is mandated by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) and the Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act.
