As you know, the State of Illinois mandates that all employees of the state, including the state university system, are obligated by law to complete the annual ethics training mandate. This is not optional. This message is a reminder that the online training program must be completed by the end of business on November 2, 2010. Your access to the program will be removed at this time.
Failure to complete the training will result in the required reporting of your name to the Office of Executive Inspector General for the Agencies of the Illinois Governor. The penalties of noncompliance may include a hearing before the Illinois Executive Ethics Commission and/or the assessment of fines up to $5,000. In addition, the University may impose disciplinary action on any employees who do not train during the designated online training period.
You should complete the training during your regular work hours or as your supervisor directs.
