Students
research a topic of current importance to the major and present to an audience
as part of a unit on inservice/ continuing education in this Human Resources
class. The audience usually includes alumni as well as HIM professionals from
the Chicago area. Students produce all
aspects of the program, from registration brochures to evaluation forms. Students work on the program aspects with a
group. In addition to the requirements of the project in the course, honors
college students must produce an indendent research paper and additional products
as apply to their topic (i.e., policies, procedures).
