6. Are dependents automatically re-enrolled each term?

Yes. When a spouse, civil unions or dependents are added to CampusCare coverage, they remain enrolled until CampusCare coverage terminates, such as upon graduation, or a Dependent Disenrollment Form is submitted as long as premiums are paid in full. You will automatically be billed for dependent premiums each term. The 2 exceptions are as follows:

  • Summer Continuation Coverage. If you purchase summer continuation coverage for the summer term in which you are not registered for classes you MUST also enroll your dependents by submitting a Dependent Enrollment Form along with your Summer Continuation Enrollment Form.
  • Late Registrants. If you register late – after the 10th day of class for the fall or spring term or after the 5th day for the summer term – and have not waived out of the program, you will be automatically enrolled and assessed the full CampusCare Student Insurance Fee. Dependents, however, are NOT automatically enrolled when you register late. If you want dependent coverage, you must submit the Dependent Enrollment Form before the enrollment deadline date. Read more about late registrants.
