PROJECT CO-DIRECTORS

Deborah Rosenberg, PhD, the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health, Community Health Sciences. Dr. Rosenberg is currently Co-Director of MCH Analytic Skills Online, a data utilization project funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB). Previously, she was Co-Director of Data Enhancement for Accountability and Leadership in Maternal and Child Health (DEAL MCH), also an MCHB funded project. Dr. Rosenberg has extensive experience as a trainer in analytic methods, including seven years as faculty in the Enhanced Analytic Skills Program (EASP), and two years as statistician for the Midwest MCH Data Improvement Project (MMDIP). She has been a trainer at many meetings and conferences, and has provided technical assistance and consultation in analytic methods. Other work in MCH over the past twenty years includes serving as data analyst and program evaluator in teen pregnancy and family planning agencies, and as statistical programmer and director of a multi-hospital perinatal database. Her research has focused on perinatal epidemiology and service delivery, with a special interest in the measurement of prenatal care utilization.

Colleen A. Monahan, DC, MPH, Associate Director for Research and Development, the University of Illinois at Chicago, Division of Specialized Care for Children, Dr. Monahan is currently Co-Director of MCH Analytic Skills Online, a data utilization project funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB). Dr. Monahan is also an Adjunct Faculty at the UIC School of Public Health teaching analytic methods in public health. Dr. Monahan's research interests include special needs children; data systems, census and other national data sets; geographic information systems; and, Internet and Web technologies.
