Personal profile
Dr. Panko received his doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Missouri in 1969. As a biomedical researcher, he held faculty positions at the University of Virginia and Baylor College of Medicine and was active in the Human Genome Project. He was also a senior information technology executive at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Michigan. He concentrates now on research and teaching in health care informatics. His research interests include enterprise integration, the computer-based patient record, and the use of the Web for knowledge management. Athena |
