Join Mexican Students de Aztlán (MeSA), Students for the Advancement of Freedom, Equality and Human Rights (SAFEHR), Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and Union for Puerto Rican Students (UPRS) for the second Noche de Poetas (Poetry Night) of the fall semester.

Don't miss out on the amazing talented poets as they share their own poetic words on this month's theme, “Rising From the Struggle.”

Leading the night will be our featured poet: Sarah Risheq.

How have you found joy in spite of injustices?
What are some fun-filled activities on campus that have brought joy to your student life?

Sarah Risheq is a Palestinian Syrian poet and artist, born in Jordan. She currently double majors in International Studies and Peace Conflict Resolution at DePaul. She is also a member of SJP DePaul.
