This Publishing Without Walls program will be an incubation workshop for potential authors, a writers’ workshop meets "makerspace” where scholars can learn about the PWW publishing environment and experiment with digital publishing tools using their own content. Publishing Without Walls is a Humanities Without Walls-associated project led by the University of Illinois Library. Publishing Without Walls is a four-year collaborative initiative funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation that aims to develop scholar-driven, openly accessible, scalable, and sustainable scholarly communications infrastructures that directly engage with scholars throughout the research process and can be supported locally by a university’s library while also opening new avenues toward publication through university presses and other publishers.
