The UIC Choirs consist of as many as six choruses, all requiring various skill levels, and all working in different genres (classical, vocal jazz, gospel, and pop). They choirs consist of approximately 25% music majors, and 75% non-majors. They perform as many as six concerts per year both near and off campus. Bella Voce (Chicago's premiere professional chamber choir) and the Janus Ensemble (a professional period-instrument orchestra) come to campus every year to perform a unique and outstanding to hear masterworks in the choral repertoire.
