Financial support from alumni and friends has become an increasingly important factor in maintaining the tradition of excellence at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work. Less that one-third of the University's operating budget now comes from state-appropriated funds. 

Most alumni and friends participate in the Jane Addams College of Social Work Annual Fund with gifts of cash. However, you can specify how your gift will be used so that it supports what you care about most. Gifts of cash can be made by sending a check payable to the "University of Illinois Foundation/JACSW" with the fund name in the memo line.
