Applying to the Joint MSW/MPH Degree Program
All MSW students including full-time, PM-Extended Study and Advanced Standing students are eligible for the joint degree. Students must apply to and be admitted separately to both the School of Public Health and the Jane Addams College of Social Work master's degree programs. The policies of each program with respect to admission requirements, degree requirements, and other academic requirements are applicable. Prospective and current MSW students interested in the joint degree program should contact Associate Dean Christopher Mitchell, the Joint Degree Program Coordinator, for more information and advising regarding the application process.
To be considered for admission, students must take the Graduate Record Examination (required for admission to the MPH program), have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, and satisfy other application requirements for each college.
