Description : The goal of this project is to examine outcomes of the FACT re-entry program in terms of community tenure (reducing recidivism and hospitalization) and mental health and social outcomes.
Title : Testing a Systems Level intervention to Improve Police Response to Persons with Mental Illness: CIT in Chicago

Description:

The goal of this project is to present an initial model for understanding police-based interventions in interactions with persons with mental illness, which may facilitate access to needed mental health treatment. Their presented model may explain important outcomes, such as injury, use of force, violence, arrest and linkage to treatment and connect these outcomes to the implementation of CIT.
