Kim Mueser, Ph.D., Dartmouth University
Advances in Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders

Dr. Mueser, is a licensed clinical psychologist and a Professor in the
Departments of Psychiatry and Community and Family Medicine at the Dartmouth
Medical School. Mueser's clinical and research interests include the psychosocial treatment of severe mental illnesses, posttraumatic stress disorder, and dual diagnosis. He has published extensively and given numerous lectures and workshops on psychiatric rehabilitation. He is the co-author of several books.

Jeffrey Draine, Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania
People with Serious Mental Illness
in the Criminal Justice System

Dr. Draine is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Policy and Practice and is also affiliated with the Center for Mental Health Policy and Services Research in the Department of Psychiatry. His primary interests are in community based rehabilitation and recovery oriented services for people with mental illness involved in the criminal justice system. He is also interested in how policy enables or limits self-determination among consumers/survivors.

Roger Fallot, Ph.D., Community Connections
The Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model: Gender-Specific Group Interventions for Women and Men

Roger Fallot is Director of Community Connections Research and Evaluation and currently Principal Investigator on the District of Columbia Trauma Collaboration Study, a federally funded research project examining the effectiveness of integrated services for women trauma survivors with mental health and substance abuse problems.

Lisa Najavits, Ph.D., Harvard University
Seeking Safety

Dr. Najavits, is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School; director of the Trauma Research Program in the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center at McLean Hospital; and research psychologist at the National Center for PTSD, Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System. Her major clinical and research interests include: trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder; substance abuse; and psychotherapy outcome research.
