Jane Addams Hull-House Museum is Chicago’s dynamic monument to democracy.  The museum draws on the legacy of international peace activist, feminist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Jane Addams and the other social reformers who lived and worked alongside their immigrant neighbors to create social change and expand access to democracy. The museum is located on the campus of the University of Illinois Chicago and is a National Historic Landmark that connects histories of the Hull-House Settlement to present-day social justice issues. Exhibitions and public programs highlight histories of activism, progressive education, and democratic principles of participation and exchange.
