Job And Internship Opportunities:
This UIC undergraduate student will facilitate public tours and dialogues engaging the history of the Hull-House Museum with contemporary struggles for peace and justice with over 30,000 K-12, college, and community-based learners. Tuesday - Fridays & Sundays 12-18 hours/week
Museum Education Fellow
This experienced educator will support a team of Museum Educators, coordinate tours and dialogues, and support program development and community engagement Wednesdays - Fridays & Sundays 24 hours/week Sept - May
This information specialist manages a collection of more than 5,000 artifacts, which are housed in three sites and displayed in permanent and temporary museum exhibitions in addition to being regularly loaned to other cultural institutions. 15 hours/week Sept - May
Program Coordinator- Temporary Position
This seasoned cultural worker will coordinate and implement art, social justice and public history programs to UIC students, staff and faculty, Chicago area community groups and the general public. Monday - Friday (with some weekends and evenings) 40 hours/week Sept- March

The Jane Addams Hull-House Museum offers internships for students who are passionate about museums,
public history, social change and social justice. If you are interested in contributing your talents
to our vibrant museum staff and community, please send a letter of inquiry and resume to the email below.
Please indicate the dates you are available for your internship, and if you are interested in Exhibitions,
Education, Public Programs or Evaluation. Internships at the JAHHM are unpaid unless supported by a grant.
Fall and Spring internships are on a rolling basis. Summer internships will be decided by April 2014.
