Award-winning Canadian columnist Haroon Siddiqui will discuss his best-selling book, Being Muslim, which summarizes the impact of terrorism on Muslims, dissects Western discourse on Islam and Muslims and tackles controversial topics. Being Muslim is being called "a bridge to understanding" between Muslims and Non-Muslims. Co-sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee, the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, and Jewish Voice for Peace-Chicago.
