ABOUT
Join us for a public performance of speeches and writings by 10 "Americans Who Tell the Truth" including Martin Luther King, Ella Baker, Pete Seeger, Grace Lee Boggs, and Bill Ayers. Their words will be brought to life with dramatic readings performed by local artists, educators and activists.

MC'd by Richard Steele of WBEZ Chicago Public Media. Performers include Laura Washington, Kevin Coval, FM Supreme, James Thindwa, Sage Morgan Hubbard, Eve Ewing, Julian Deshazier, Kristen Cox, and Bill Ayers (as himself).

Plus, we'll toast The Public Square's 10 year anniversary. Celebrate "10 portraits, 10 voices, 10 years of The Public Square."

This performance is in conjunction with ten portraits from Rob Shetterly's remarkable collection, "Americans Who Tell the Truth," on display at Jane Addams Hull-House Museum this spring.

Free and open to the public. To register, visit go.prairie.org (A facebook RSVP is not considered a reservation).

If you need a sign interpreter or require other arrangements to fully participate, please call 312.422.5580. For parking locations near the facility, please visit ChicagoParkingMap.com.
