Kwan is a senior biostatistician
at the Cooperative Studies Program Coordinating Center
(CSPCC) at Hines Veterans Affair Hospital and an Adjunct Assistant
Professor
of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
He received
his BS in Computational Mathematics and MS in Applied Probability
and Statistics from the Northern Illinois University and
his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Illinois
at Chicago.
He has
been with the CSPCC for 12 years conducting multicenter
clinical trials on various medical areas. His current work
includes Parkinson’s
Disease trials at CSPCC and MTA study at UIC. His area
of interests include clustered data analysis, randomized multicenter
clinical
trails, and health care outcomes research. He is a CO-PI
on NIH Zero-Inflated Poisson (ZIP) research grant. |
