The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) at UIC provides a comfortable, safe and effective environment to conduct research involving human subjects. This is achieved by providing the necessary environment, equipment and personnel to optimize research goals. The GCRC fosters education in clinical research at all levels of training.

 The GCRC is supported by a grant from the National Institute of Healht (NIH) with additional support from the University and the UIC hospital
