The
center is located in the University of Illinois
Medical Center at Chicago on 5 East and is approximately
5200sq ft.The facility includes:

- Adult psychiatry beds (available
on 8 East)
- A metabolic kitchen
- An additional laboratory
- A database management
system office.
The
GCRC will make every attempt to adapt to the unique
needs of each protocol. When
there is a compelling reason why the research subject
cannot come to the GCRC, the nursing, bionutrition,
and laboratory staff are able to go to other areas
of the hospital and off-site clinics.
