The mission of the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) at UIC is to assist University researchers in the performance of investigations involving human subjects or human biological samples in order to facilitate the research and augment its scientific quality. The GCRC emphasizes the safe and ethical conduct of clinical research and fosters education of future physician-scientists as well as other clinical researchers.
