Centre for Research in Urban Ecology
The Centre for Research on Urban Ecology (CRUE) studies the ecological and evolutionary processes occurring in urban and other human-dominated landscapes. It focuses on non-human species: the plants, animals, and ecological communities that persist or emerge in human-dominated ecosystems. The centre engages in research, education, and public service. CRUE is part of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and it partners with diverse public and private organizations.
