Teaching
Dr. Chen's goals in teaching are to
 |
provide students the opportunity to learn life-long learning skills; |
|
make use of the methods and tools that are developed as part of research in teaching;
|
|
provide an opportunity to students to learn how to approach open-ended problems and to gain some insight and understanding of the complementary roles played by analysis and synthesis, engineering and its impact on society and the environment; and
|
|
help students learn how important teamwork and social skills are.
