Research Summary:
My project is to determine the three-dimensional structure of FlhD by x- ray crystallography. It has been shown that FlhD interacts with FlhC to form a complex. This complex is a transcription activator of flagellar genes in E. coli.
My work includes the overexpression, purification and crystallization of FlhD. The crystal that we obtained has been collected the diffraction data with imaging plate up to 2.3 angstrom resolution.
