Biology Track, Medicinal Chemistry Graduate Program (2001-Present). We have restructured our graduate program to
include structural biology and enzymology components in many of the graduate
courses to emphasize the importance of
structural biology and enzymology in drug design and molecular recognition
processes. My primary roles are to guide
faculty who are course coordinators in the implementation of relevent
structural biology and enzymology components into their curriculum, and to
organize student rotations through the various faculty members of the
track.

Executive Committee-Chairman (2003-Present) for the Instrument Development Team (IDHT) for
"MaNDi" a Macromolecular Neutron Diffractometer
at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS).
The MaNDi IDT has been allocated a sector at the SNS at Oakridge
National Laboratory to build a world renowned, best-in-class neutron
diffractometer for macromolecular neutron structures. The IDT is currently trying to raise funds in
the amount of $10-15 million for construction of MaNDi.
Steering Committee-(2002-2003)
A United States national committee of prominant scientists was formed to
develop a plan to build a state-of-the-art Neutron Diffraction Facility at the
Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) at Oakridge National Laboratory.
