Welcome to the Neural Engineering Vision Laboratory.  Our group is primarily interested in developing new tools for the research, diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases.  Additional areas of interest include basic vision science and hybrid-device olfactory biosensors .  The methods we use include electrophysiology, modeling, instrumentation design and microfabrication.  We collaborate with several laboratories, including those in other departments at UIC, other Chicago institutions, and universities across the country.
