Undergraduate Research Assistant

I like to welcome and encourage you to consider my laboratory for your senior thesis, honor’s activity, or just for gaining research experience. No particular prior research experience is required; your dedication (show up at the said time every week) is all it takes. You will have an opportunity to perform actual bench research in the laboratory.  Literature projects may also be arranged occasionally.   If your sole intention is to get a recommendation letter for professional schools, you’ve come to a wrong place. I can tell you right now that it will be a waste of your time and mine.  Although there is an excellent track record of undergraduate “alumni” of this laboratory being accepted by professional schools, these students worked hard in the laboratory and elsewhere, and earned their strong support from the lab. 

*   Students must take BPS 380 or BPS 390, or an equivalent research course (such as BPS399: coming soon). 

 

*   Work study opportunity may become available from time to time.  Please contact me with your resume.
