Students wishing to take Modern Greek at UIC are required
to take a Placement Test. This assesses their knowledge of the
language and assigns them to a course at the appropriate
level (101, 102, 103, or 104). Students whose test
demonstrates a knowledge of Greek beyond the 104 level
will be officially classified as having already fullfilled
the University's "Language Requirement".
