Steven Bowman, PhD, University of Cincinnati, author of The Holocaust in
Salonika: Eyewitness Account,
will be joined in a panel discussion with
Heinz Kounio and UIC faculty members

Thursday, November 12th, 2009
Suzanne Wasserman, CUNY, will discuss and screen her film,
Thunder in Guyana, about the late Janet Jagan, born and raised
in Hyde Park and former president of Guyana.

Hasia Diner, NYU, will discuss the state of Jewish Studies
