Sandi Port Errant Language Culture and Learning Center The center (LCLC) is devoted the study of language and culture. It features a self-access computer lab, high-tech classrooms, an informal study space equipped with two flat screen televisions featuring Dish Network International Programming, and a variety of devices and media available for check out. The LCLC strives to provide an environment and programming that bring together faculty, students, research associates, and members of the local language communities in which they can all engage in rich language and cultural exchanges.

The Study Abroad Office offers more than two hundred program opportunities on six continents, with coursework across all academic disciplines. The office seeks to engage as many UIC students as possible in becoming international learners with enhanced global awareness.

The Office of International Affairs offers a mutual exchange of students between UIC and international colleges and universities in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. The Student Exchange Program offers many programs tailored to meet the needs of undergraduate and graduate students, students with strong language proficiency as well as students who do not speak any foreign language.
