Pre-law advising at UIC is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences through the Academic Advising center. Even so, students and alums from all colleges are encouraged to take advantage of the resources available through the Pre-Law Office.
Adekemi Faleti is an attorney and 2004 graduate from the University of Illinois College of Law. She worked as an attorney for a year and a half before coming to UIC to help students best prepare for law school. She is currently an Executive Board member of the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors.
Appointments are available M, and W-F from 8:30-4:30, and are scheduled for hourly sessions for initial appoints and 30 minute sessions for follow-up appointments.

A major way to obtain the latest information about law related opportunities is to be on the pre-law advising roster and mailing list. All incoming and transfer students who mark an interest in pre-law on their admissions applications are automatically added to the pre-law advising roster and mailing list. If you are interested in learning more about advising and pre-law opportunities at UIC and are not currently on the advising roster, please e-mail your name and UIC email address to the pre-law advisor. Another way to obtain the latest information is to join the Pre-Law Society listserv by sending your name and email address to mckenzie@uic.edu.
