Law-related scholarly interests: Studies the intersection of race and sexuality in American society and the criminalization of Black women in Chicago who worked as prostitutes in the early twentieth century. Professor Blair’s work is historical in nature and looks at questions of sexuality, neighborhoods, policing, and the construction of black women’s criminality.
