Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS)
The Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS) is a computerized system at UIC used to evaluate a student's progress toward graduation. The audit delineates every course taken and places each course into its appropriate category whether as a general education course, major course, or elective. Additionally, DARS shows hours earned, residency requirements grade point averages, and other valuable information. The audit is used by the College and the departments in evaluating a student's progress, fulfillment of requirements, and outstanding requirements. LAS students can obtain their personalized audit (DARS report) by making an appointment with an academic advisor in the LAS Academic Advising Center (3rd floor University Hall or at 996-3366).
Students may also access their unofficial DARS audit on-line using my.UIC. DARS Web for Student, is located under the Academics tab of my.UIC.
