Transfer Applicants
Applicants from other colleges and universities are eligible to apply for admission if they have earned a minimum of 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) of credit and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 (of 4.00). Transfer students should take note that they must complete their last 30 hours at UIC and must have 60 hours of credit at a four-year college or university after they have attained junior standing (60 semester hours). Specific residency requirements also apply to credits in the major field of study. The college prepares a degree audit report (DARS) for each transfer student after their admission to the college. The Office of Admissions can assist prospective transfer students in planning for enrollment at UIC.
