UIC Inter-College Transfer Applicants

Student currently enrolled at UIC who wish to transfer into the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences must complete an Inter-College Transfer Application:

Inter-College Transfer Applications must be submitted by Friday of the fifteenth week of the Fall and Spring semesters and by the fourth week of the first Summer session. For those accepted into the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, admission becomes effective the following semester.

Admission to LAS from another UIC college is generally limited to those students in good academic standing who have a UIC average of at least 2.00 (A=4.00) and whose combined UIC and transfer average is at least 2.00.

All transfer coursework will be reviewed by the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences in order to receive credit from LAS.

Students are welcome to discuss their academic interests with an LAS Academic Advisor during regularly scheduled workshops during the academic semester. A list of the upcoming workshop dates can be found when submitting the Inter-College Transfer Application.
