  • Chicago Circle Memorial Grove

A committee of UIC employees will work with landscape architects to begin implementing projects identified in the 2010 Campus Master Plan. The first project will improve the area near Taylor and Morgan streets, replacing the deteriorating asphalt walking path, tired landscaping and old benches with new outdoor seating, signs and other amenities. The goal is to make that space more attractive, usable, and pleasant.

Projects that require smaller amounts of funding to have a big impact on improving the physical qualities of the campus have been termed "Immediate Impact Projects".

A committee of UIC employees will work each year to prioritize and implement potential projects identified in the 2010 Campus Master Plan that can make the campus safer, more comfortable, and more attactive.
