UIC College of Nursing Redesignated as a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center for International Nursing Development in Primary Health Care!
Dr. Beverly McElmurry will remain Head of the Center. This designation by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) will be effective from 2007-2011.
The NIH 2006 Rankings have been posted and UIC College of Nursing is ranked 3rd!

College of Nursing Awards Honorary Degree
Shirley Welsh Ryan has been awarded an Honorary Degree from the College of Nursing.
Mrs. Ryan co-founded and serves as Chair of Pathways Awareness, a national not-for-profit organization committed to helping raise awareness about the importance of early detection and early therapy for infants with motor and developmental delays.
