Welcome to the UIC College of Nursing!

We welcome you to our college that provides quality education for becoming a registered nurse or advancing your career in nursing!  Earning a prestigious UIC Nursing degree is a ‘leg up' for any career path. We are focused on your success and proud to provide access to mentored learning, outstanding clinical experiences, ‘leading edge' technologies, and the field's foremost nursing leaders.

You will ‘learn with and from the best' – at the UIC College of Nursing – we are about Advancing Nursing Leadership in all walks of nursing. We see leadership as not about position or power but about a ‘frame of mind' and ‘way of behaving' – no matter one's professional position. Leadership is about having the power of influence to effect positive change in people and systems.

You will ‘sharpen your leadership skills' – with your choice of being based in Chicago , Peoria , Quad Cities , Rockford or Urbana – or if you are an RN, attaining your BSN through the University of Illinois Global Campus , virtually.

You will ‘join an enriching learning community' that provides programs in baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees including PhD and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) – we strive to be the preferred connection for learning, discovering and translating knowledge to excellent healthcare practice. Our college is a local, national and global 'touch point' for many – a nexus for people with the spirit and will for innovating.
