Department of Maternal Child Nursing

Irving Harris Faculty Scholar Initiative

The Irving Harris Faculty Scholar Initiative provides the Department of Maternal Child Nursing with funding for faculty recruitment and development, and scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. "The UIC Department of Maternal Child Nursing trains students for a career focused on supporting parents and infants during the most critical time in development, the first few days, weeks, and months of life," Harris said. "I hope that this grant will allow UIC to continue to attract the best and brightest faculty and students to this important field."
