Welcome!
Medical-Surgical
Nursing (MSN) focuses on both basic science and clinical approaches
to health problems experienced by adults.
The research
and practice areas for medical-surgical nursing faculty include
a variety of settings such as hospital units, ambulatory care
departments, long-term care facilities, homes and communities.
The objectives of our master's
program are to prepare
expert advanced practice nurses who can synthesize practice,
research and theory to increase the quality of patient care.

Care Nurse Certificate Program
Certification
Upon completion of the study options, graduates may be eligible to
seek certification from a variety of national voluntary programs,
e.g. the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC). For nurses who
already have
a master’s degree in nursing, study for postmaster’s certification
is available.
